Sacred Heart University’s New Engineering Program
There may be no profession requiring an awareness of such broad social responsibility as much as the discipline of engineering, owing to the fact that, in all its fields, its products and designs eventually touch every aspect of human life on the planet.
The question, however, is do educational institutions have the wherewithal to turn out engineers with both the technical and the civic virtues to achieve such a balance?
Professor Tolga Kaya is endeavoring to do just that as he leads SHU s fledgling engineering program into the future.
