Originally created in 2017 to provide educational programming, policy outreach, and research about the national opioid epidemic, the Institute assembled an impressive group of researchers from across the university’s departments of pharmacy practice, physician assistant studies, humanities, behavioral and social sciences, biological sciences, kinesiology, and pharmacology and toxicology.
